A forward‑thinking supported living provider serving the Northwest region.
Brindle Supported Living offers comprehensive support to former unaccompanied asylum‑seeking children, including asylum guidance, mental and emotional wellbeing support, and high‑quality accommodation. Support is delivered through our semi‑supported group living homes and our Outreach Support with Accommodation services.
Many UASC young people have lived through intense trauma and long periods of uncertainty. Experiences such as trafficking, exploitation, unsafe environments, homelessness, and witnessing unimaginable events can deeply affect their emotional and mental wellbeing. Once in the UK, they face unique challenges linked to their legal status, separation from family, and the grief and loss they carry.
As care leavers, the journey into adulthood can feel especially overwhelming without family support. They must manage two major transitions at once: learning to adapt to a completely new culture and way of life, and preparing for their own future as independent adults.
Brindle Supported Living is committed to supporting UASC young adults by helping them overcome the significant challenges they face, build resilience, and reach their full potential. Working closely with specialist services, the team provides expert guidance through the asylum process and supports young adults as they adjust to a new culture and environment. A safe, therapeutic, and nurturing setting is created to help them process past trauma and develop strong support networks, giving them the stability and security needed to settle and grow.
The diverse and experienced staff team ensures every young person feels welcomed, understood, and valued. With translation, mentoring, and bespoke translated materials, young adults gain a clear understanding of their home and feel their culture, language, and identity are respected. This foundation helps them develop confidence and believe in a positive, purposeful future.
